Description: The Magic School Bus was an animated educational children's television series, based on the book series of the same name. Originally broadcast from 1994 to 1997, the series received critical acclaim for its use of celebrity voice talent, as well as combining entertainment with an educational series. Episodes follow the eccentric and mysterious teacher, Ms. Frizzle, as she embarks on adventures with her eight students on the eponymous school bus. As they journey on their exciting field trips, they discover locations, creatures, time periods, and more to learn about the wonders of science along the way.
Description: This is a digital design made with Adobe Fresco. Millennials know the original, and now there are remakes and spin offs because The Magic School Bus has always been the BEST. Ms. Frizzle taught generations of children about biology, physics, chemistry, and all through adventures a child could only imagine. I thought it only fitting that I honor the phenomena by showcasing Ms. Frizzle's piece of wisdom that she offers to her class often: Take chances, make mistakes, get messy!
Description: On her very first field trip as a new teacher, there was a horrific bus accident, which tragically took the lives of all the children under her charge. The guilt of surviving the crash was too much for her to bear, so her psyche broke. Instead of coming to grips with reality, she fashioned a magical bus that took her class on these outlandish adventures. After hospitalization, Valerie Frizzle was diagnosed with schizophrenia and institutionalized at Brighton Asylum where she continues to live out her adventures as an eccentric "professor" with a pet "lizard" named Liz.
