Description: The Winchester Tavern was a London pub which best friends Shaun and Ed regularly visited prior to Z-Day, often bringing along Shaun's girlfriend Liz, and Liz's flatmates David and Dianne. The pub was owned by John (who according to Shaun and Ed's friend Big Al, had connections with the North London Mafia), and his wife Bernie. It was seemingly named after the Winchester 1886 rifle that hung above its bar (which according to Ed only strengthened Big Al's claims about John). The pub had an arcade machine, a jukebox, and a back door labeled "PRIVATE" which led to its fusebox, as well as an underground cellar which led back out into the street.
Description: Check your ego at the door and celebrate the greatest vocal collaboration in history with this original USA For Africa style caricature. Illustrated by cartoonist Gene (Gwiz) Williams and originally published in Rock Video Magazine in 1985, this massive ensemble features over 40 hand-drawn 80s music legends. From the King of Pop and The Boss to Cyndi Lauper and Lionel Richie, this hand-drawn masterpiece captures the energy of the 'We Are The World' recording sessions. A must-have for fans of vintage 80s music, retro pop culture, and the golden age of MTV. The perfect gift for music lovers and collectors of rock and roll history!
Description: What might be the most famous roots rock song of all time is certainly a love song to Alabama, but music lovers will want to focus on this lyric: "Now Muscle Shoals has got the Swampers, and they've been known to pick a song or two." Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in northwestern Alabama was home base for the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, also known as the Swampers. Throughout the ‘70s, they were featured on more than 200 albums and collaborated with the likes of Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, and of course, Lynyrd Skynyrd. Today, the studio is open for tours every day except Sunday.
