Description: Fun chemistry design with a drawing of sp3 hybridised atomic orbitals drawn in blue and purple watercolor pencils. This geek artwork may represent orbitals in the molecule of methane, silicomethane and other chemical compounds. This design is great for a chemist, scientist and someone who loves chemistry, especially organic chemistry.
Description: This is an image of The Sanctuary of Christ the King (Santuário de Cristo Rei), a Catholic monument and shrine dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ overlooking the city of Lisbon. It is located on top of an isolated hill in the Almada district about 135 m above the sea and overlooking the Tagus River left bank. It was inspired by the Christ the Redeemer statue of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. The project was inaugurated in May 1959. The giant cement statue was erected to express gratitude because the Portuguese were spared the effects of World War II. It is the highest point in Almada on a plateau dominated by the 25 de Abril Bridge (images coming soon). All images are taken with a Canon 5D III (full frame) and a Canon 7D II...
Description: This is an image of the Louvre at night taken from the courtyard of the museum with a focus on the glass pyramid and the Denon Pavillion. The Louvre, originally a royal palace but now the world's most famous museum, is a must-visit for anyone with a slight interest in art. The collection of the Louvre Museum was first established in the sixteenth century as the private collection of King Francis I. One of the works of art he purchased was the now famous Mona Lisa painting. The collection grew steadily over the years, thanks to donations and purchases by various kings. In 1793, during the French Revolution, the Louvre became a national art museum and the private royal collection opened to the public. The Louvre was created in sever...

Description: Corpus Christi Harbor Bridge Using leading lines from the white art structure (which is located at the Corpus Christi aquarium) guides the eye to the Corpus Christi Harbor Bridge which spans the ship channel that connects to the Gulf of Mexico. The harbor bridge over the ship channel is often described as having a distinctive Napoléon hat-style look; the metal bowstring bridge was built in the 1950s. Work is underway to replace it with a taller, wider and modern cable-stayed bridge. Flatiron/Dragados has been involved in 31 cable-stayed bridge projects worldwide, including nine in the United States. When the new Corpus Christi Harbor Bridge is complete it will be the longest of its kind in the nation, measuring 1,655 feet at its main ...

Description: This artwork embodies the uncompromising spirit of SPK, merging the raw imagery of flesh and bone with the cold machinery of industrial sound. The stark black-and-white aesthetic reflects the abrasive tension between humanity and dehumanization, a recurring theme in SPK’s confrontational art. The skeletal figure becomes both a symbol of mortality and a critique of a world dominated by industrial decay. Through its disturbing intensity, this piece captures the essence of noise and power electronics, where chaos and structure collide in a visceral confrontation with reality.
Description: An illustration of a grey heron captured in flight. The bird is drawn with attention to anatomical detail and elegance. Its long neck forms a graceful curve, the sharp yellow beak points forward with intent, and its focused eyes convey a sense of motion and determination. The wings are spread, showcasing an impressive wingspan and a dynamic pose. The feather structure is intricately detailed, with darker tones along the upper wings and lighter hues beneath, creating a vivid sense of depth and realism.
