Description: Creepshow is a 1982 American horror comedy anthology film directed by George A. Romero and written by Stephen King, making this film his screenwriting debut. The film's ensemble cast includes Hal Holbrook, Adrienne Barbeau, Fritz Weaver, Leslie Nielsen, Carrie Nye, E. G. Marshall, and Viveca Lindfors as well as King himself (King's acting debut actually came a year prior in the Romero film Knightriders). The film was primarily shot on location in Pittsburgh and its suburbs, including Monroeville, where Romero leased an old boys academy (Penn Hall) to build extensive sets for the film.

That was the narration that opened the 1982 TV drama, Knight Rider. While that gives a pretty good general overview, a more detailed synopsis goes something like this: Reborn, so to speak, after getting shot in the face, Knight dedicates his life to fighting for justice. Billionaire Wilton Knight hires Michael to be the lead field agent in his Knight Foundation's public justice organization, part of which includes the development of KITT, a superpowered, intelligent souped-up Pontiac Trans-Am.
Description: Jarts, were all the rage in the ’70s and ’80s. A few Jarts, a few friends, and a few beers, American backyard-barbecue-goers would lay down small plastic hoops as targets and play a game not entirely unlike horseshoes. In 1982, folks in Eastern, Washington decided to hold the First Annual Tri-Cities Jarts Championship event at Columbia Park in Kennewick, Washington. Attracting as many as 200 contestants, law darts were flying everywhere that Saturday, and a good time was had by everyone. Well, other than those involved in several Jart related incidents, but luckily for them, Tri-Cities Ambulance was the event sponsor, so they were taken care of relatively quickly. Needless to say, the second annual event would never happen as intended.
