Description: When a series of unexplained murders occur in the normally quiet town of Tarker's Mill, the residents decide to hunt down the killer. However, many of these vigilantes end up dead, and those who don't are no closer to finding the assailant. When a young paraplegic named Marty encounters a werewolf one night, the pieces begin to come together. Along with his sister and Uncle Red, Marty begins a mission to capture the werewolf once and for all. This is the synopsis of the 1985 film Silver Bullet, which is a rather charming entry into the werewolf genre that seamlessly combines the gory horror of R rated flicks with the fable-esque, childlike sensibility.

Description: WPGC-AM, Inc., purchased WRNC in 1956. The calls were changed to WPGC-FM in March 1958. WPGC-FM temporarily went silent until February 1959, as new studios were being constructed for the top 40 format. The call letters stand for "We're Prince George's County", the county in which the station is actually located, but at one time in the 1970s and early 1980s, it was referred to in on-air promos as Where People Get Cash. WPGC-FM maintained some form of the top 40 format (skewed from rock 'n' roll-based to adult contemporary) until 1984, when it flipped to easy listening/adult contemporary WCLY, "Classy 95".

Description: Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors is a 1985 cartoon series that ran for 65 thirty-minute episodes, was created to support the Wheeled Warriors toy line. The toy line actually came out first, and featured an array of action figures, vehicles, and play sets. The vehicles featured interchangeable elements, allowing kids to design and build their own creations. The show didn't reflect the toy line very well, which didn't help the already poor toy sales. Due to less than successful toy sales, the series' 65-episode run was not extended, and the series ended unresolved. A movie had also been commissioned along with the series, following in the footsteps of other toy-based animated series, and was intended to wrap up the story.
Description: Fido Dido began life as a whimsical cartoon character created by Joanna Ferrone and Sue Rose. Rose first sketched him on a napkin in 1985 and then she and Ferrone produced shirts with the slogan "Fido is for Fido, Fido is against no one" in New York City. He became a local favorite that gained enough of a following that he became the mascot for one of the clear sodas on the market in 1987. Outside of the New York market, he initially failed to gain popularity, though as the America ushered in the '90s, he became an instant hit with his trendy look, laid-back attitude and unconventional take on life that fit well with the new decade.
Description: Osterman Fine Watches- signs glimpsed in episode 7 of the new Watchmen series, and of course in Alan Moore's original graphic novel. Poor Jon Osterman and his frustrated watchmaker father- they had no idea a physics accident would transform the young man into a near god in Doctor Manhattan. Great gift for Watchmen fans.
