Description: The Oklahoma City Cavalry were a professional basketball team in the Continental Basketball Association from 1990 to 1997 when they won the championship. hey played at the Myriad Arena (now Cox Convention Center) in downtown Oklahoma City. In their second season, 1991-92, the team won the CBA’s southern division with a 33-23 record. They would repeat again as division champs in 1994-95. The team’s best season would be 1996-97, where they would win the CBA title by defeating the Florida Beach Dogs.

Prior to opening Kiki's Bistro in 1990, Georges "Kiki" Cuisance opened Le Bordeaux at Madison and State in 1969. The restaurant attained a revered status among Chicagoans, and when "Kiki" moved his kitchen to its River North digs, avid regulars and Francophiles followed without hesitation. The Twins played at Tinker Field in downtown Orlando, near the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium. In 1990, the team was renamed the Orlando Sun Rays. In 1993, the Chicago Cubs became the team's new major-league affiliate, and the team was renamed the Orlando Cubs. While still a Chicago Cubs affiliate, the team renamed itself once again in 1997 and became the Orlando Rays. The following year, for one season only, the Seattle Mariners were the Rays' major-league affiliate. The Tampa Bay Rays (then the Devil Rays), an American League expansion team in 1998, assumed the Orlando Rays' major-league affiliation.
Description: The Gate City (Pocatello) Pioneers were a minor league baseball team in the Rookie League from 1990 to 1991. The team featured players from the Montreal Expos and Chicago White Sox farm systems as well as minor league players from the Hiroshima Toyo Carp of the Nippon Professional Baseball. For the 1991 season, the team changed its name to the Pocatello Pioneers. The franchise then relocated to Lethbridge, Alberta, where they became the Lethbridge Mounties.
