Giant Leopard Slug Socks

The Leopard Slug is a huge spotted slug that reaches 8 inches long! It’s also called the Giant Spotted Slug, and the Great Gray Slug. This slug is nocturnal, crawling about its business at night. Leopard Slugs are unusually intelligent, and like to return to the same little nook or crack every morning to sleep. They also can learn from their experiences. A very cool slug! They’re originally from Europe, but have found their way to many other parts of the world, and I sometimes find them crawling across sidewalks and forest paths where I live - in the state of Maine, in the United States. Once I even found a huge one on the outside of my door one night!
