WHY SO RATIONAL? Socks

Being intelligent and thinking deeply is an amazing skill. In fact, it allows us to solve hard problems, get better grades, finish assignments and projects faster, understand the nuances of a group or context, and know or find out what steps or decisions to take to achieve a goal. However, even though humanity is increasingly embracing rational, scientific thought and tends to believe what it sees and hears, I believe there's a somewhat misguided interpretation of those who arrive at the best conclusions, even if they do so excellently and present almost unassailable arguments. Many people's misunderstanding lies in confusing well-executed work or arguments so solid that they're mistaken for impulsiveness and aggression.
