Description: "They say that long ago, the world was unbroken. That there was no war—nor poverty, nor disease, nor famine. That the gods themselves walked among mortals—choosing some to be their instruments of peace and justice among the races. They even say that there was no winter. Then, it all fell apart!" This is a painting I did for my good friend's new fantasy series A World Broken! More info here: CarolAPark.com
Description: Making collages is a craft I first found my creative flare in. I created this one by hand – as I do most. I wanted to give the image depth, I tried to create this by using different landscapes for the background, I also like that the central focus is facing “outwards”. I have lots more collages in my portfolio, be sure to check them out too! Check out my other works for my eclectic portfolio of photography, digital designs, hand made collages, and fine art pieces that have been digitalised, and professionally colour matched. When you buy a product it would great if you could tag any pictures up on Instagram, please also check out my feed for new designs and photography! @The_Hylton
Description: "Ogun" The Yoruba God of Iron and War. On August 14 1791 a slave rebellion began on the Island of Saint Domingue, present day Haiti. The slaves held a ceremony and prayed and asked "Ogun" to fight by there side and give them the strength to overcome those who would oppress them. The slave's prayers were heard by the powerful Ogun. As the slaves rushed to fight for their freedoms, the mighty Ogun infused his spirit within all of them. Across the tropical lands he charged into battle with his saber-tooth white lion and the Haitian revolution had begun. The slave revolt led to freedom for the oppressed peoples of Saint Domingue, and the birth of Haiti as the first independent Black Republic of the modern world.
