The character and stories have had a profound and lasting effect on mystery writing and popular culture as a whole. We love to revisit the old stories just as much (if not more) than we like coming up with new stories. We love translating Sherlock Holmes into every medium we’ve had in that span theater, radio, movies, TV, comics, everything. Holmes has been at home on television since 1950. As television has changed, we have come up with a Holmes for that era. It’s hard to count just how many adaptations of Sherlock Holmes there have been because of so many have used elements of the detective.
