With hunched shoulders, a protruding head, and reverse-jointed legs, the Mad Dog resembles a vulture, so much so that it was independently code-named Vulture and Hagetaka (or Hagetaga,"Vulture" in Japanese) by the Inner Sphere forces which first encountered it.
