Description: This is an image of the castle at Cesky Krumlov, a medieval stronghold in what is now the southern most reaches of Czechia. It sits atop a steep hill, which by virtue of its loftiness probably made it quite unassailable. On the other hand, I think it must have been a relatively peaceful place, judging by all the windows. I suspect it was more about wealth and the display thereof. That all aside, what I love about the image is the curve of the buildings around the incredibly deep blue sky.
