Bicycle Socks
Description: Cyclists know it's proper etiquette to pass on the left slower riders, runners, or pedestrians. Also the white bike represents someone who was fatally killed while riding or passed away. A Ghost Bike is placed on site of the accident or a memorial is set up. This is a celebration of life and a reminder of who we lost in our cycling community.
Description: In this captivating French advertising image from the early 1900s, we are presented with a moment of pure poetry. A Pierrot, the characteristic character of French commedia dell'arte, gazes romantically at the moon while seated on his bicycle. The scene unfolds at night, with the restless sea looming in the background under a starry sky. The Pierrot, with his pale face and white costume, appears deeply contemplative, as if reflecting on the wonders of the world. The bicycle, a symbol of freedom and adventure, adds a touch of movement and dynamism to the scene, while the silvery light of the moon creates a magical and surreal atmosphere. This evocative image captures the essence of the French belle époque, invoking feelings of romanticism.

Description: I had a Cannondale bike like this, it had fancy henna style graphics and I like the idea that this pattern blended with the sun dappled tarmac in the background. I have painted it in beautiful lustrous oil colours to enhance the bold geometric patterns and fine detail. I am a keen cyclist, who lovingly restores bicycles and then records them for posterity by producing fine canvas's that are totally unique.
