Black Ring Socks
Description: Ink illustration of an adult ring-tailed lemur. Drawn using one of my own photographs as reference, I used mostly Sakura pigma micron marker pens and and an Akashiya Sai ink brush pen for the darkest areas. The ring-tailed lemur (Lemur catta) is the most famous species of lemur, well known for their long black and white striped tail, they have soft, thick fur which a greyish brown on the body and white cream underneath and on the face. Lemurs are a primate found only on the Island of Madagascar, many species of lemur are endangered.

Description: The yellow-collared lovebird (Agapornis personatus), also called masked lovebird, Black-masked lovebird or eye ring lovebird, is a monotypic species of bird of the lovebird genus in the parrot family Psittaculidae. They are native to northeast Tanzania and have been introduced to Burundi and Kenya.[1] Although they have been observed in the wild in Puerto Rico, they are probably the result of escaped pets, and no reproduction has been recorded.[2] They have also been observed in Arizona.[3]
