Description: Early B.S.A. cars were traditional rear-wheel drives, but from 1929 on, they produced front-wheel drive three-wheelers. These lightweight trikes were popular, especially during the Great Depression. The four-wheeled FW32 was later added, followed by the Scout in 1935. This new two-seater sports car used the same powertrain as its siblings, and with it's low center of gravity and front wheel drive, was said to be a spirited car with remarkable cornering. The Scout was built through four series but did not re-emerge after World War II, as B.S.A. made the decision to concentrate exclusively on motorcycle production.
