Description: Samhain, initially conceived as a side project by Glenn Danzig and collaborator Eerie Von, became Danzig’s primary musical focus after the explosive breakup of the Misfits in 1983. Though Samhain remains the least-celebrated chapter in Danzig’s storied career, it marks a pivotal evolution in his sound—bridging the raw horror-punk energy of the Misfits with the brooding, blues-infused heavy metal that defined his later solo band, *Danzig*.
