Dc Pride Socks
Description: It looks like Washington DC's favorite football club is finally getting a new name! We've meant a lot to this great nation, so maybe we can convince them to consider an Italian American mascot instead!?!? It can't hurt if the "powers that be" see you wearing this awesome new parody design!
Description: The Great Seal is a principal national symbol of the United States. The phrase is used both for the physical seal itself, which is kept by the United States Secretary of State, and more generally for the design impressed upon it. The obverse of the Great Seal depicts the national coat of arms of the United States and the reverse features an unfinished pyramid topped by an Eye of Providence.
Description: WGAY signed on December 7, 1946, airing a beautiful music (easy listening) format at 1050 AM from their deco-style studio in Silver Spring, Maryland. The WGAY calls are said to refer to the station's 'bright and gay' happy sound. Despite its sobriquet of elevator music, WGAY was a popular station throughout the DC Metro Area and eventually doubled its power to 20 kW for better reach. On February 1, 1960, the WGAY calls were moved to the FM band at 99.5 with a 50 kW stereo signal, and the station's easy-listening broadcasts became even more ubiquitous in homes, stores, and offices throughout the region.
