Description: The Reno Silver Sox were a professional baseball team based in Reno, Nevada, in the United States. From 2006 to 2008, they played their home games at William Peccole Park, on the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno.

They have played the circuit ever since, aside from the 1993 and 1994 seasons, when the club was known as the Central Valley Rockies. In the Oaks' second season, they captured a league championship, while seven members of their starting lineup scored over 100 runs. After the 2008 season the Oaks changed their name to the Visalia Rawhide.

Though a San Diego Padres farm club, the Gators wore an eye-popping Gold/Green/White color scheme more reminiscent of the Oakland Athletics, topped off by pillbox-style striped caps. The team played at Vincent-Beck Stadium on the campus of Lamar University.
