Description: The Beaumont Golden Gators were a minor league baseball team in the double A Texas League from 1983 to 1986. The team was an affiliate of the San Diego Padres for their entire tenure. In 1986 the team was sold to a group that moved them to Wichita, Kansas before the 1987 season, becoming the Wichita Pilots.

The team was affiliated originally with the Oakland Athletics, then with the Chicago White Sox and the Houston Astros. The team became the Iowa Cubs in 1982 after affiliating with the Chicago Cubs.
Description: The Blackwell Broncos were a minor league baseball team based in Blackwell, Oklahoma. Preceded by the 1924 to 1926 Blackwell Gassers, Blackwell teams played in the Class D level as members of the 1924 Oklahoma State League, Southwestern League from 1924 to 1926, 1952 Kansas-Oklahoma-Missouri League and 1954 Western Association. The Blackwell Broncos won the 1954 Western Association championship and were a minor league affiliate of the Chicago Cubs in 1952 and 1954. Blackwell hosted home minor league games at Fairgrounds Park and Morgan Field, which were on the same site.
Description: The Okmulgee Drillers were a minor league baseball team that played in the Western Association from 1920 to 1927. They were based in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. In 1922, they played at Athletic Park, and from 1923 to 1927, they played at Petrolia Park. Under managers Whitey Hensling and Ed Brennan in 1920, the Drillers went 83-46, finishing first in the standings. They tied for the league championship that season. In 1921, they had three or four different managers. One source says they were managed by Frank Herriott, Harry Womack and Johnny Wuffli, while another says Ed Klepfer managed them as well. Description: Boardwalk and Baseball was a theme park built near Haines City, Florida, at the south-east corner of the Interstate 4-US 27 interchange. It replaced Circus World at the same location, and was owned by Harcourt Brace Jovanovich Park Group (now Harcourt, a division of Reed Elsevier). It opened in April 1987, and closed January 17, 1990. The park recycled many of Circus World's rides and exhibits. The petting zoos were removed, the rides and shows were rethemed, and Baseball City Stadium was built on the site. Although the park was considered superior to its predecessor, it was predicted to fail by industry observers at the grand opening. Its relatively standard rides were considered no match as a Walt Disney World competitor.
Description: The Shochiku Robins were a Japanese baseball team that played in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). The franchise originated in the Japanese Baseball League (NPB's predecessor) and existed from 1936–1953, when it merged with the Taiyo Whales. Originally based in Tokyo, the club moved to Osaka in 1941.
