Description: Hephaestus is the Greek God of fire, blacksmiths, craftsmen, artisans, metals, and volcanoes. The Romans called him Vulcan. He is the son of Zeus and Hera, or in some accounts only the son of Hera alone. Unlike many deities, Hephaestus lives with disability, having a lame foot.

The thousand hands, guided by Wisdom eyes in each palm, are outstretched to help ease the suffering of all beings. I like to think that each of us has the capacity to be a helping hand of compassion and wisdom to relieve the suffering of all beings. My art begins as ink on paper.
