Description: The Pterodactyl Club opened in the mid-'80s in Charlotte, North Carolina as an alternative dance hall with a DJ spinning all the greatest non-mainstream music. Housed in an old steakhouse with 40 year old carpet on Freedom Drive, Pterodactyl Club had one of the smallest bars of any club, which made getting a drink a challenge. Within the first year, The Pterodactyl began featuring live bands and quickly became the go to spot to catch the coolest bands. From punk and hardcore to goth and metal and everything in between, this Charlotte nightspot hosted countless big name acts before they made it big.
Description: The old building on Chinden Boulevard was relocated to Garden City, Idaho, from New Plymouth in 1949, and The Ranch Club opened its doors the following year. It was the only bar in town with slot machines, that is, until gambling was banned in Idaho in 1953. A few years after that, the owner commissioned a giant palomino with a cowboy and lasso to stand atop the bar's sign. At some point, the cowboy was ripped off in a storm, and eventually, the horse was replaced as people kept trying to climb up and sit on the saddle. The new palomino has stood strong ever since and has remained a landmark of the rowdy cowboy bar, even during the years spent as a gay bar.
Description: Edina Swimming & Diving is a competitive, interscholastic, high school athletic program for athletes in grades 9-12. We provide swimmers and divers the opportunity to represent their school and community, and to grow as young men and women while competing on an athletic team. Athletes need the following items: suit, towel, goggles, snorkel, and water bottle. Athletes will purchase their own competition suit prior to or during the beginning of the season. Practices and meets are required. Attendance is mandatory - including during winter break and other holidays during the season. Swimming pre-requisite: Ability to swim unaided and to complete rudimentary sets.

Description: First opening their doors in 1999, Burt's Tiki Lounge combined a dark, moody vibe with a serious bric-a-brac fetish, eclectic live music, and tropical drinks to create a bizarre oasis in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Countless acts performed at Burt's and it even made a couple of appearances on Breaking Bad. It was a true southwestern original with few contemporaries, but sadly, Burt's folded after 17 years not too long after moving to a new location which failed to capture the beloved dive bar tiki vibe of the original.
