Flora Socks
Description: This pattern took me ages, long enough to make me wonder what I was thinking even starting on such an ambitious (for me) project. But my garden is full of proteas, and they are so lovely, I find their shapes and colors endlessly inspiring, so it had to be done. I couldn't ignore them anymore. : )
Description: Lovely watercolor and mixed media painting, the snake is based off a photo I took of a gardener snake i found out in the woods a few summers ago, but I took artistic license with the colors and had some fun! Not everyone can love an appreciate snakes like I do, but this art is for those of us who do!
Description: Nature gives us an overwhelming variety of forms and species. Just like in our imaginary world, everything is possible for it. When you walk through the forest, here and there mushrooms are sitting in ambush. And sometimes you can go out into the clearing, and a whole flock of these cute fungi will jump out on you. We captured a lush green forest in the daytime when its inhabitants the mushroom cats dress up and go out on the afternoon forest meeting to chat and enjoy each other socially.

Makes a great gift for bird watchers and Africa wildlife supporters. The malachite sunbird (Nectarinia famosa) is a small nectarivorous bird found from the highlands of Ethiopia southwards to South Africa. They favor nectar from aloes and will feed by either perching on the flower or hovering while feeding.
