Description: This image of the Saluda River at Jones Gap is inspired by vintage travel posters, silkscreen design, campy paint by numbers and our national and state parks. Jones Gap is one of my favorite parks. It is part of the larger Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area that also includes the headwaters for the Middle Saluda River, Cesar’s Head State Park, many well marked hiking trails of varying difficulty and numerous waterfalls. I have been going here my entire life, before it was a state park and it was just the old road over the mountain where the old fish hatchery was. Decent bathrooms and picnic areas.
