Head Bone Socks
Description: I saw a butterfly recently that had beautiful faces in the wings. I decided to do my own version with the Death's Head Moth and some skulls. I forgot how much I enjoy working on skulls. Description: I have a pretty simple but complicated system when I work with colors. For each color, I typically have 1-2 shadow colors and 1 highlight color. I shift the shadows one way and the highlights the other on the color wheel. Certain colors always have the same result mostly because of my own personal preference. For example yellow-green has a green shadow and yellow highlight. In this drawing, I forced myself to go against my instincts. I'm happy with the results, but it felt SO wrong. Description: I've never understood why people spend so much money on a coffin (and funeral in general). I told my wife when I die, cremate me (dumpster fire is acceptable in my opinion), bring me home in a Quaker Oats container and toss my ashes in the cat's litter box.
