Description: Sun Electric Corporation was founded in 1931 in Chicago, Illinois, focusing on manufacturing electrical test equipment for automotive use. After the war, hot rodders were increasingly souping up their rides and a need to monitor their engines became apparent. Sun applied their history with precision testing equipment to aftermarket automotive gauges, producing some of the best gauges of all time that allowed racers to keep an eye on their engine at all times. From tachometers to oil pressure and everything in between, Sun made a gauge for it, and these original units that came out decades ago remain the holy grail of instrumentation to this very day with most of them still working like new.

Description: This design reflects being caught between two worlds: The Harley Cafe Racer XLCR was only built in 1977 & '78, and I was fortunate enough to get my hands on one before they became expensive. Most Hog drivers don't care for cafe or sport bikes, and most cafe racers don't ride Harleys. During Bike Week at Myrtle Beach, I got no nods of acknowledgment or waves from Harley riders because they thought I was riding a rice rocket due to the bike's styling. I was an outcast and learned to ride with no leader, no pack... just the open road, because every rider deserves to ride like a free man, so I embraced the solitude on the roadways.“Ride Free. Ride Alone.” or “No Pack. No Master.”
