Description: Ariola (also known as Ariola Records, Ariola Express, Ariola-Eurodisc and BMG Ariola) is a German record label. In the late 1980s, it was a subsidiary label of the Bertelsmann Music Group, which in turn has become a part of the international media conglomerate Sony Music Entertainment.
Description: Rose Records was founded by Aaron Rosenbloom in 1931 as Rose Radio. They initially sold radios, components, and offered repair services. They soon added phonographs and records, which quickly overtook radio sales, prompting Rose to stop selling radios altogether. Rose grew to become one of the largest record stores with over 100,000 titles in stock at their three-story flagship location on Wabash Avenue. At its peak, Rose Records had 35 locations throughout the Chicagoland area, but began consolidating stores until the flagship was the last one standing, and closed that in 1995.
Description: Mammoth Records was an independent record label founded in 1989 by Jay Faires in the Carrboro area of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Description: RSO Records was a record label formed by rock and roll and musical theater impresario Robert Stigwood and record executive Al Coury in 1973. The letters "RSO" stood for the Robert Stigwood Organisation and the company's headquarters were located at 67 Brook Street, in London's Mayfair. In 1978, the label boasted an unprecedented six consecutive number-one singles on the pop charts, holding the top spot for 21 consecutive weeks. RSO would log a further 10 weeks at the number 1 position, giving the label a record of nine in one calendar year. This feat remains unduplicated by any record label to date.
Description: Enigma Records (also known as Enigma Entertainment Corporation) was a popular rock and alternative American record label in the 1980s. Enigma Records launched as a division of Greenworld Distribution, an independent music importer/distributor, in 1981. Four years later, in 1985, Enigma severed ties with Greenworld and became its own company. Enigma was initially located in Torrance, California, then El Segundo, California and finally Culver City, California. Enigma was founded and run by brothers William and Wesley Hein.

It consisted of the BMG Music Publishing company, the world's third largest music publisher and the world's largest independent music publisher and the 50% share of the joint venture with Sony Music, which established the German American Sony BMG from 2004 to 2008.

"OG" Juan Perez was appointed the president of the label Robert Castillo EVP and Cipha Sounds was the senior vice president of A&R (until he got a job at MTV in 2006). Roc-La-Familia was an extension of Roc-A-Fella Records and headquartered in New York City. Roc-La-Familia featured a broad array of artists encompassing such musical genres as Latin hip hop, reggae, reggaeton, pop, rock and more.
