Description: Monark Silver King was founded in Chicago in 1934 and specialized in the design and manufacturing of bicycles, eventually adding motorized bicycles to their line-up. This made for a natural segue into other small engine powered devices which included lawn mowers and chain saws, both of which were in demand in post-war America, so in 1945, the firm constructed a brand-new state-of-the-art factory on Grand Avenue to facilitate the manufacture of these items. Much like their bicycles, Silver King chainsaws were highly regarded for their original design and quality workmanship and today, they remain highly valued among chainsaw collectors.

Description: MacMillan Bloedel Limited, commonly known as MacMillan Bloedel, and sometimes referred to simply as "MacBlo," was a Canadian forestry company headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. It was formed through the merger of smaller forestry companies in 1951. Those were the Powell River Company, the Bloedel Stewart Welch Company, and the H.R. MacMillan Company. MacMillan Bloedel was purchased by a global forestry services company in 1999 at which point MacBlo ceased to exist.
Description: Margaret Lanterman, better known as the Log Lady, was a resident of Twin Peaks who was known as such for carrying a cut log with her that she claimed had an agency to be able to perceive events. To most residents in the town, she was perceived solely as mentally ill, as she often spoke in non-sequiturs. However, aside from her confusing speech patterns, she was a shaman who was able to interact with the spiritual world through the log that accurately described multiple events. Members of the Bookhouse Boys, including Sheriff Harry S. Truman and Deputy Hawk, recognized the Log Lady as having connections with the spiritual world, with Hawk mentioning that the log held many spirits within it.
