Description: This design is in response to a current turf war occurring in Philadelphia, where new businesses and complexes are trying to "re-brand" Philadelphia's Gayborhood so that it has a more gentrified vibe. We in the LGBTQ community here are saying "No, but have a beautiful day."

Description: Midtown School of Science and Technology was established in New York City in 1962. The school notably had Peter Parker and his best friend Ned Leeds as students. It also had an Academic Decathlon Team managed by Roger Harrington and led by Liz Toomes, as well as its own TV show hosted by Jason Ionello and Betty Brant. Parker took advantage of the school's equipment for his Spider-Man activity, using the chemistry labs to synthesize his Synthetic Webbing and hiding his homemade suit behind a series of lockers.

Description: Wilshire Center is one of those somewhat vague sub-regions of Midtown Los Angeles defined around Wilshire Boulevard -- along the lines of Mid-Wilshire or Mid-City. There are, nevertheless, LADOT signs posted at what one would assume to be its borders -- although the northernmost extend into what is generally regarded to be East Hollywood. This, then, is my compromise and an attempt at a more sane definition, which includes Koreatown and Little Bangladesh, and areas otherwise undesignated to the east, west, and north.
Description: An ink map of Koreatown I made for "California Fool's Gold" in 2010.
