Mirrorball Socks
Description: Created for the POD Central #septcho2020 September 2020 creative challenge. Theme - Disco. The embodiment of the disco dance era was the night club with it's mirror ball and illuminated flashing light dance floor. This design has taken those concepts and created the slogan "Disco Never Died' using the disco ball for the 'o' in disco and the word 'died' is based around the disco dance floor. Ideal for those who lived the 1970s and early 1980s and believe that indeed disco lives on. For those who have embraced the inner 'disco queen' of the 70s and 80s and want to get their groove on and dance the night away spreading the message.
Description: Disco is a genre of dance music and a subculture that emerged in the 1970s from the United States' urban nightlife scene. Its sound is typified by four-on-the-floor beats, syncopated basslines, string sections, horns, electric piano, synthesizers, and electric rhythm guitars. Disco would eventually become a key influence in the development of electronic dance music, house music, hip hop, new wave, dance-punk, and post-disco. The style has had several newer scenes since the 1990s, and the influence of disco remains strong in spite of the infamous Disco Demolition Night
