Description: The San Jose Bees joined the California League in 1962 as an affiliate of the expansion Los Angeles Angels. They switched to a Kansas City Royals affiliate from 1970–1974 and a Cleveland Indians affiliate in 1975–1976. The team later became known as the San Jose Missions, the San Jose Expos, and most recently the San Jose Giants.
Description: The Imjin Scout badge was awarded from 1965-1990. From 1965 to 1967 it was awarded only to Advanced Combat Training Academy graduates (ACTA). ACTA was a 262 hour course which prepared soldiers to conduct day reconnaissance and night ambush patrols within the S. Korean DMZ. Upon graduation the cloth Imjin Scout badge was awarded and worn on the right pocket of the uniform. Sometime in 1967 the award criteria was expanded. Second Infantry Division Regulation 672-3 authorized award of the Imjin Scout badge for the completion of 20 operational missions within the DMZ. A most sought after and unique award.

Description: Flight Patches for the 12 Apollo crews: Apollo 1 never left the ground. The 3 crew members died in their space capsule during training. As a result the next 5 missions were all unmanned. Apollo 7 circumnavigated Earth, Apollo 8 looped around the moon, Apollo's 9 & 10 tested the docking manouveres and lunar module in space. Apollo 11 was the first manned moon landing. Apollo 13 was forced to abort its mission and return. Apollo 17 was the last manned mission to vist the moon. They came in peace for all mankind. (see more designs like this in The Blue Box)
Description: The San Jose Missions baseball teams of 1977 to 1981 were actual two separate franchises. The first was a Class AAA Pacific Coast League, formerly the Sacramento Solons (1974-1976) of the PCL. The team was an Oakland A’s farm club in 1977 and a Seattle Mariners affiliate in 1978. The team was then sold and moved to Utah to become the Ogden A’s. Then a Class A team stepped in and became the San Jose Missions, retaining the original affiliation with the Mariners. This team survived until the 1981 season when the Montreal Expos took over San Jose’s California League affiliation. The ball club was re-branded as the San Jose Expos for the 1982 campaign.
