Description: This is one of my favorite logos from the 70s. I loved this store as a kid, and wanted a T-shirt with the logo. This store went out of business in the 80s, and the Trademark is now DEAD on the federal lookup. This is a beautiful piece of nostalgia from Houston and surrounding areas of Texas from the 1970s. Cast in 1968, it represents the burghers of the city of Calais capitulating after a long siege by the English during the Hundred Years War. The original is in Calais, France.
