Pattern Design Socks
Description: A design by Leon Bakst, 1866 – 1924, a Russian painter, fabric and costume designer who died at the beginning of the Art Deco era, the style that influenced some of his later designs which is what you see here. Because of the age of this design it has not been produced digitally, but by hand, in which case is not perfectly symmetrical with slight variations in colour which all adds to the character found in handmade products of yesteryear.
