During the Alasita Festival in La Paz and other Andean regions, people offer miniature versions of what they wish to receive in life — homes, cars, money, or love — to the Ekeko, believing he will bring those desires to fruition. This cultural figure represents gratitude, hope, and the importance of abundance shared with others.
