Description: Tomcat - The Grumman F-14 Tomcat is an American supersonic, twin-engine, two-seat, twin-tail, variable-sweep wing fighter aircraft. It was the first such U.S. jet fighter with twin tails. The Tomcat was developed for the United States Navy's Naval Fighter Experimental (VFX) program. The F-14 was the first of the American Teen Series fighters, which were designed incorporating air combat experience against MiG fighters during the Vietnam War. The F-14 first flew on 21 December 1970 and made its first deployment in 1974 with the U.S. Navy aboard USS Enterprise (CVN-65). The F-14 served as the U.S. Navy's primary maritime air superiority fighter, fleet defense interceptor, and tactical aerial reconnaissance platform into the 2000s.
Description: Flight is the process by which an object moves through an atmosphere (or beyond it, as in the case of spaceflight) without contact with the surface. This can be achieved by generating aerodynamic lift associated with propulsive thrust, aerostatically using buoyancy, or by ballistic movement.
Description: Fan blades have been growing as jet engines have been getting bigger: each fan blade carries the equivalent of nine double-decker buses and swallows the volume of a squash court every second. Advances in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modelling have permitted complex, 3D curved shapes with very wide chord, keeping the fan capabilities while minimizing the blade count to lower costs. Coincidentally, the bypass ratio grew to achieve higher propulsive efficiency and the fan diameter increased.

Description: Who doesn't love the Flying Tigers? These men of the American Volunteer Group "AVG" volunteered to fight before the US entered the war. With their Curtiss P-40 Warhaws, they fought for the Chinese government to stop the Japanese attacks on their cities. And the Flying Tigers rose to the call of duty and stopped them. With small numbers and pilots with reputations as hard as nails, this group did the impossible. We salute them with this "Shark teeth" design inspired by the very plane that became famous for it's deadly ruggedness. *HURRY AND GET YOURS BEFORE TIME RUNS OUT!
