Description: Hum is an American alternative rock band formed in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, in 1989, known for blending crushing guitars with dreamy melodies, spacey atmospheres, and introspective lyrics. After building an underground following, Hum broke through with 1995’s You’d Prefer an Astronaut, followed by the heavier, atmospheric Downward Is Heavenward in 1998. The band broke up in 2000 but reunited for select shows, including Furnace Fest in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2003. This design recreates the cool Japanese tokusatsu-inspired Hum graphic that was available exclusively at that show.
