Description: The Abbey Pub is gone, but the old shirt designs live on here. These were all designed by one of the bar tenders (Rob the Australian dude), and originally screen printed by hand in his apartment, usually with proceeds going to one of our charity events. These are recreations of the old designs, which will be professionally printed to order, wear them and remember the good times.
Description: Withnail and I is a 1987 British black comedy film written and directed by Bruce Robinson. Loosely based on Robinson's life in London in the late 1960s, the plot follows two unemployed actors, Withnail and "I" (portrayed by Richard E. Grant and Paul McGann, respectively) who share a flat in Camden Town in 1969. Needing a holiday, they obtain the key to a country cottage in the Lake District belonging to Withnail's eccentric uncle Monty and drive there. The weekend holiday proves less recuperative than they expected.
Description: The Chatsubo or Chat, is a bar in Ninsei of Chiba City, 2 block east of Jarre de Thé. The bartender was Ratz occasionally replaced by Kurt. Kirin and Tsingtao beer are served there. It was frequented by expatriates; there were almost no Japanese there. Figures seen there were African sailors, Lonny Zone's whores, Wage with his joeboys, and Case. On weeknights it attracted a dealing clientele. On Fridays and Saturdays it was flooded by sailors from the Chiba port and specialists preying on them. In Japanese, chatsubo (茶壺) means "tea bowl"
