Description: The 150th Field Artillery Regiment ("The Raiders") is a field artillery unit in the Indiana Army National Guard. The 150th Field Artillery was formed from the 1st Indiana Field Artillery, which served during the Spanish–American War. The Indiana Field Artillery was at service on the Mexican border when the United States declared war on Germany in 1917. As the United States mobilized for World War I, the Indiana Field Artillery became federalized as the 150th Field Artillery, and assigned to the 42nd Infantry "Rainbow" Division, which participated in several major battles in 1918. Major Robert Tyndall was promoted to Colonel in command of the entire regiment, which was issued French 155 mm cannons.
Description: The 31st Field Artillery Regiment is a field artillery regiment of the United States Army, first Constituted in 1918 in the National Army (USA). The 1st Battalion, 31st Field Artillery, was constituted 5 July 1918 in the National Army as the 31st Field Artillery and assigned to the 11th Division. The "Proud American" Battalion is credited with participating in multiple campaigns in World War II and the Korean War. It has been distinguished with several decorations, to include the Philippine Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation that was awarded on three separate occasions.

The regiment has served in more campaigns than any other infantry unit in the United States Army. It is known as "The Cottonbalers" for its actions during the Battle of New Orleans, while under the command of Andrew Jackson, when soldiers of the 7th Infantry Regiment held positions behind a breastwork of cotton bales during the British attack. These actions and the lineage of other units that made up the 7th Infantry give the regiment campaign credit for the War of 1812.

It would experience numerous redesignations and reorganizations in the decades leading up to it being mustered into Federal service in 1916 for Mexican Border service as the 1st Field Artillery Regiment. Drafted into Federal service 5 August 1917, it was reorganized and redesignated on 1 October 1917 as the 104th Field Artillery and assigned to the 27th Division. Description: The 38th Field Artillery Regiment is a field artillery regiment of the United States Army. 38th Field Artillery Battalion on 8 July 1941 along with a unit motto, “Steel Behind The Rock.’ It was redesignated to reflect the unit’s changing status, first as the 38th Artillery Regiment in 1958 and then fore the 38th Field Artillery in 1971.
