Rough Socks
Description: The Ottawa Rough Riders were a Canadian Football League team based in Ottawa, Ontario, founded in 1876. Formerly one of the oldest and longest-lived professional sports teams in North America, the Rough Riders won the Grey Cup championship nine times. Their most dominant era was the 1960s and 1970s, in which they won five Grey Cups. The team's fortunes waned in the 1980s and 1990s, and they ultimately ceased operations following the 1996 season.
Description: Every English teacher, student, or random worker has experienced the panic of a deadline where the initial brainstorming document suddenly becomes the last submission. It highlights the reality of procrastination and the universal experience of trying to pass off something incomplete as a polished piece of work. For English students rushing a term paper or employees scrambling to finish a slide deck ten minutes before a meeting, the rough draft often gets a quick spell-check, a new title, and is sent out into the world. It is a humorous acknowledgment that "good enough" has to replace "perfect." It removes the shame from the chaotic creative process and celebrates the sheer survival tactic of just getting the job done.

Description: A massive cargo vessel plows straight through churning black water, its bow throwing up walls of spray while heavy storm clouds roll across the sky behind it. Rendered entirely in charcoal and grey with a thick grain texture, the whole scene feels like a single frame pulled from a storm-chasing documentary - raw, weathered, and in motion. At the base, the gritty hand-lettered "Ride The Storm" sits almost swallowed by the darkness itself, echoing the resilience the image is built around. A solid pick for fans of maritime aesthetics, nautical adventure, or anyone who likes their design with a bit of grit and grey.
