Russian Space Program Emblem Socks
Description: Step back into the dawn of the Space Age with this authentic, retro-styled Soviet space patch design inspired by the show Star City. Featuring bold Cyrillic typography, this patch pays homage to Звёздный городок (Star City)—the legendary training hub for cosmonauts—and the Soviet Space Program (Советская космическая программа). With detailed illustrations of a classic rocket launch, early satellites, and cosmic elements, the design proudly displays the mottos "Science and Defense" (Наука и оборона) and commemorates the monumental "Space Era 1961" (Эра космоса 1961)

Description: Lunokhod 2 (Russian: Луноход-2, moon walker) was the second of two unmanned lunar rovers landed on the Moon by the Soviet Union as part of the Lunokhod programme. The Luna 21 spacecraft landed on the Moon and deployed the second Soviet lunar rover (Lunokhod 2) in January 1973.[1] The primary objectives of the mission were to collect images of the lunar surface, examine ambient light levels to determine the feasibility of astronomical observations from the Moon, perform laser ranging experiments from Earth, observe solar X-rays, measure local magnetic fields, and study the soil mechanics of the lunar surface material.(Wikipedia)
Description: An illustration depicting the space journey of Laika, a Soviet space dog who became one of the first animals in space and the first animal to orbit the Earth. Laika, a stray dog from the streets of Moscow, was selected to fly aboard the Soviet spacecraft Sputnik 2, launched into outer space on November 3, 1957.
Description: Laika (Russian: Лайка; c. 1954 – 3 November 1957) was a Soviet space dog who became one of the first animals in space, and the first animal to orbit the Earth. Laika, a stray mongrel from the streets of Moscow, was selected to be the occupant of the Soviet spacecraft Sputnik 2 that was launched into outer space on 3 November 1957. Little was known about the impact of spaceflight on living creatures at the time of Laika's mission, and the technology to de-orbit had not yet been developed, so Laika's survival was never expected. Some scientists believed humans would be unable to survive the launch or the conditions of outer space, so engineers viewed flights by animals as a necessary precursor to human missions.
Description: A bold white letter 'A' is centered on a black background. Two curved swooshes, one red and one blue, encircle the letter. A silver sphere sits atop the 'A'. Below the emblem, the word "ARTEMIS" is displayed in white capital letters.

Description: This design comes from a Soviet propaganda poster from 1961, originally by Soviet graphic artists Oleg Dmitrievich Maslyakov (О. Д. Масляков) and Efim Semyonovich Tsvik (Е. С. Цвик) and published by the (confusingly named) publisher Soviet Artist. The text on the design reads: "6 August 1961" and the text at the bottom reads: "I dedicate my flight to you, XXII Party Congress! Cosmonaut Major Titov" which comes from his preflight statement. On 6 August 1961, Cosmonaut Gherman Titov's Vostok 2 was the second successful human orbital mission in history, following Yuri Gagarin's Vostok 1 four months earlier. Description: A bold space mission emblem featuring a stylized lunar surface, Earth in orbit, and geometric insignia design. Inspired by modern space exploration, this artwork blends sharp lines with cosmic symbolism, capturing the essence of humanity’s return to the Moon and deep space ambition.
Description: Sputnik 1 was the first artificial Earth satellite.[6] The Soviet Union launched it into an elliptical low Earth orbit on 4 October 1957, orbiting for three weeks before its batteries died, then silently for two more months before falling back into the atmosphere. It was a 58 cm (23 in) diameter polished metal sphere, with four external radio antennas to broadcast radio pulses. Its radio signal was easily detectable even by radio amateurs,[7] and the 65° inclination and duration of its orbit made its flight path cover virtually the entire inhabited Earth. This surprise success precipitated the American Sputnik crisis and triggered the Space Race, a part of the Cold War.
Description: Embark on a cosmic voyage with 'Soyuz in Orbit - Earth and Stars'! This stunning vector-style illustration showcases the Soyuz spacecraft, a cornerstone of human spaceflight, as it orbits Earth. Featuring the Soyuz with its distinct modules and solar panels, the design presents a vivid portrayal of our planet and the vastness of space. Ideal for space enthusiasts and admirers of human ingenuity, this design is a tribute to the enduring legacy of Soyuz missions.
