To help with the cause, they had a couple of cartoon spokespeople created - 'Sniff and Snuff, the Super Fire-Safe Snoopers.' Sniff and Snuff were added to printed materials as well as staring in animated PSA's that ran amidst blocks of cartoons and other children's programming to teach children the importance of fire safety and the dangers of forest fires.
