Serpent Socks
Description: On EASTER Jesus Christ rose up from the dead like so many gods before him. In Qabalistic gematria, the numeric equivalent of the word messiach (messiah) is the same as the word naschach (serpent) meaning they are two sides of the same coin. The serpent is the testing, enlightening and liberating side of the Christ. It is also represents the kundalini and the foundational power of all life. We all have an inner something-or-another, and so it is with serpents of which this design is a whimsical reminder. Well, it beats Easter bunnies for a change!
