Description: Almost everyone has seen this beautiful depiction of Lilith by John Collier which is now in the public domain and accessible via Wikimedia Commons. As usual, I did some color modifications and set her in a beautiful frame that accents all the reds I added. Not only did Lilith proclaim her independence by refusing to obey Adam, she also was the first lover, protector, and disciple to Earth Mother sometimes called Serpent Mother, who is above all other deities. We cannot fault her for that love any more than we can fault ourselves for loving our own parents. Lilith stands for truth, principle, and freedom above all. I stand with her. Do you?
