Description: Barbary Coast was a hotel and casino located between the Flamingo and Bally's on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. The hotel was owned by Boyd Gaming and was built by Michael Gaughan in 1979. The hotel was closed to be renamed to Bill's Gambling Hall and Saloon. The Barbary Coast was home of Drai's After Hours, a restaurant nightclub that is still open to this day.

Description: The Red Barn opened in 1958 as an antique store near Tropicana Avenue and Maryland Parkway. In 1961 the store was converted into a club that was the first coffeehouse in Las Vegas and a popular hangout among local college students. The Red Barn hosted straight patrons during the day, but after midnight it catered to the gay community. By 1972 it was exclusively a gay club, one of only a few in Las Vegas. The Red Barn closed in March 1988, and the abandoned building burned down later that year. The only remaining piece of there renowned property The Red Barn Marker is its neon martini class signage, which is now part of the Neon Museum's collection

Description: The Thunderbird opened on September 2, 1948, with 79 hotel rooms, a casino, and a bar. The cost of construction exceeded $2 million.The Thunderbird was the fourth resort to open on the Las Vegas Strip, and was located diagonally across the street from the El Rancho Vegas. It was named after the mythical Thunderbird creature, and the entrance featured two large, neon Thunderbird statues. The Thunderbird was considered a luxurious resort, and a Southwestern/Navajo theme was featured throughout the property, including portraits of American Indians.

It was designed by architect Paul Williams[6] who was one of the first prominent African American architects in the United States and was also the architect who designed the first LAX theme building.It was located at 2955 Las Vegas Blvd South, on the Las Vegas Strip, in Winchester, Nevada, and was considered one of the best-preserved examples of 1950s Googie architecture. It is believed to be named after the Beach of La Concha in Spain.
