Sinking Ship Socks
Description: SS Pendleton was a Type T2-SE-A1 tanker built in 1944 in Portland, Oregon, United States, for the War Shipping Administration. She was sold in 1948 to National Bulk Carriers, serving until February 1952 when she broke in two in a storm. The T2 tanker ships were prone to splitting in two in cold weather. The ship's sinking and crew rescue (along with break-up and rescue of its sister ship Fort Mercer) is the topic of the 2009 book The Finest Hours: The True Story Behind the US Coast Guard's Most Daring Rescue, by Michael J. Tougias. Tougias' book inspired the 2016 Disney-produced film The Finest Hours with Chris Pine, which focuses on the Pendleton rescue.
Description: Bring humor to the high seas with this funny Titanic-inspired design! Featuring a cartoon shipwreck and the witty phrase “I Run A Tight Shipwreck,” this shirt is perfect for anyone who loves nautical jokes, retro vibes, or clever parody art. Great gift for sailors, captains, sea lovers, and anyone navigating life’s chaos with humor.
Description: This is Fine." Everything’s totally under control. Just a ghost on a sinking ship waving a tiny SOS flag. Nothing to see here. Part of my ongoing Existential Dead series, a gloomy black and white series featuring darkly funny illustrations about being overwhelmed, and underreacting, with dark humor and sarcasm. Deeply ironic and all about self-scare. Great for anyone who thrives (or just floats) under pressure. This design pairs especially well with coffee, burnout, and mild dread.

Description: The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is a loosely defined region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean where a number of aircraft and ships are said to have disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Most reputable sources dismiss the idea that there is any mystery. The vicinity of the Bermuda Triangle is amongst the most heavily traveled shipping lanes in the world, with ships frequently crossing through it for ports in the Americas, Europe and the Caribbean islands. Cruise ships and pleasure craft regularly sail through the region, and commercial and private aircraft routinely fly over it.
