Description: Two Abstract Snakes featuring two black snakes curling and weaving around each other to create a striking graphic composition. One snake is decorated with white stripes, while the other combines white dots and stripes for contrasting texture. The simple black and white palette gives this reptile artwork a bold, modern and minimalist feel. A unique design for snake lovers, reptile enthusiasts, and fans of abstract animal art and graphic patterns.
Description: Gnostic symbol of two intertwined snakes in a distressed cool look. Gnostic beliefs differed in various ways, but central to them all was a dualistic theology that opposed a purely spiritual Supreme Being, who was both the origin of the cosmic process and the highest good, to a chaotic and evil material world. To the Ophites, man’s dilemma results from his being a mixture of these conflicting spiritual and material elements. Only gnosis, the esoteric knowledge of good and evil, can redeem man from the bonds of matter and make him aware of the unknown God who is the true source of all being.
Description: Despite it's relatively low budget, 1971's Duel is a cinematic masterpiece, and one of the more memorable scenes from the movie takes place at Sally's Snakearama Station. Sally's was shot at an actual gas station just off the Sierra Highway in Santa Clarita. The station was redressed to include a roadside attraction style reptile zoo for which the gas station gets its name and while there aren't any snakes in cages, you can still tank up at the gas station, albeit a slightly more modern version with a full convenience store and clean restrooms.
