Sonia Socks
Description: One of the most classic moments from the Real Housewives of New York City (otherwise known as RHONY), is the fight between Sonja and Dorinda at an Italian restaurant over their involvement in the Tipsy Girl brand. It lives rent-free in my mind. I had to immortalize it in comic form.
Description: The quote, "Rather than stand idly by while our constitutional freedoms are lost, I dissent," was written by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor in her dissenting opinion on September 8, 2025. The dissent from Justice Sotomayor concerning immigration profiling tactics is based on the Fourth Amendment's protection against unreasonable searches and seizures. Sotomayor and her fellow liberal justices argue that the Supreme Court's September 2025 decision eroded this fundamental right by permitting federal agents to stop and detain individuals based on factors that amount to racial profiling.
Description: The Supremes are one of my favorite groups! The group was started by Sandra Day O'Connor but it really began to take off when Ruth Bader Ginsburg joined. O'Connor had to leave the group for health reasons but Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan joined RBG to keep the group going strong. Someone asked Ruth Bader Ginsburg (exasperatedly) when there would be enough female supreme court justices. Her response: When there are nine. See my other feminists and lgbtq designs.
