Spoon Socks
Description: This Portuguese azulejo-inspired scene captures a cozy, nostalgic kitchen moment with cobalt blue and terracotta floral border scrollwork, a wooden spoon, and calligraphic wording. It highlights the classic humor every Avó brings to the table, featuring the phrase 'A minha avó diz: Tu estás muito magro!' Perfect for Portuguese families, grandchildren, and anyone who cherishes cultural heritage, family recipes, and the loving nagging of grandmothers. A warm tribute to the heart of the Portuguese home.
Description: Let everyone know that you need to save your spoons! (I think this is a particularly good design for a comfy sweatshirt or a tote bag!) Folks with chronic illnesses (EDS, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and so many others) use “spoons” as a unit of energy. We only have so many spoons in a day. It takes spoons to cook, shower, work, socialize, and play. If you’re “saving spoons,” it means you can’t do too much today because you know you need to do stuff tomorrow! Thanks for supporting a spoonie artist! Feel free to send me a message if there’s anything you’d like to customize! I can change colors and scale and all kinds of things. Don’t hesitate to get in touch!
