Stage Socks
Description: This stark black-and-white stencil artwork of The Sonics embodies the primal energy and stripped-down force of one of garage rock’s earliest and most influential bands. The minimalist silhouettes capture their no-frills approach: raw, loud, and unapologetically wild. Known for their distorted guitars, pounding drums, and feral vocals, The Sonics laid the groundwork for punk, grunge, and countless underground movements. This design pays homage to their uncompromising sound—a furious blend of rock and roll rebellion that still feels dangerous and alive decades later.
Description: In 1982, SR&D (founded by Boston guitarist and founder Tom Scholz) designed and developed the Rockman headphone electric guitar amplifier, claiming to replace $10,000 of studio gear. The first generation Rockman combined multiple effects with high quality components and construction in a hip-worn enclosure using a built-in attached belt clip.
Description: The phrase "stage crew" refers to the members of the technical crew who supervise and operate ("run") the different technical parts of the production during a performance. The phrase "running crew" refers to individuals who work throughout a live show. Although there are exceptions, the word is normally not applied to crew or department chiefs. The running crew may comprise actors who also serve in technical roles offstage.
