Description: Sub-Zero is a fictional character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game franchise by Midway Games and NetherRealm Studios. A warrior from the fictional Lin Kuei clan, the character is principally defined by his ability to control ice in many forms. He is the only fighter to appear as playable in every main installment of the series, along with being featured as the protagonist of the action-adventure spin-off Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero (1997).
Description: Noob Saibot is the wraith form of Bi-Han, the original Sub-Zero, a Lin Kuei assassin killed by Scorpion in the first Mortal Kombat tournament, whose corrupted soul was dragged to the Netherrealm by Quan Chi to become a shadowy servant of evil, often working with the Brotherhood of Shadow, while seeking power and control, eventually leading to his role as a major antagonist. He serves as an older, evil counterpart to his brother, Kuai Liang, the current Sub-Zero, and commands shadow clones and dark portals.

Description: Noob Saibot is an undead wraith from the Netherrealm who is introduced as a member of a cult called the Brotherhood of the Shadow that worships a former Elder God (later revealed as Shinnok). In Mortal Kombat: Deception, he discovers the deactivated cyborg ninja Smoke in Shao Kahn's palace, and reactivates and enslaves him, intending to use his body as the basis for his personal undead cyborg army. In his ending, he is revealed as the resurrected form of Bi-Han, the first Sub-Zero in the original 1992 game who was slain by Scorpion.[54] In the 2011 reboot of the first three Mortal Kombat games, Noob Saibot assumes this role in the retold events of Mortal Kombat 3 after he is resurrected by, and then supports, Quan Chi and Shao Kahn.
