The series went on to be hugely successful, especially internationally. The show was an action drama about lifeguards who patrol the beaches of Los Angeles County, California, and focused on both professional and personal challenges faced by the characters, portrayed by a large rotating ensemble cast.

Description: The Beverly Hills Beach Club is a popular leisure resort where the gang hangs out during summer vacation in Season 2 of BH90210. Episode 1 of the season kicks off with the summer between sophomore and junior year when Brandon tries out for lifeguard but ends up getting offered and taking a job as a cabana boy for the summer. Dylan's been coming to the beach club since he was little, as his parents were members and used to have their own cabana. The actual resort used for filming was Santa Monica's Sand and Sea Club which had just closed up a year earlier and was sitting empty.
